Dear English speaking reader: Apologetica.org is proud to present a scientific work about the authenticity of the so called Taxa Camarae seu Cancellariae Apostolicae, a simoniacal document attributed to Pope Leo X. The conclusions of our research prove that the document is a forgery; we also were able to find and publish the real "Taxae", which were not "the selling of the forgiveness of sins" -as the accusers said for centuries- but administrative documents which stipulated the prices of the cleric work in the Roman Curia.

We do need your help for translating some material from the Spanish original articles. Please send us a note if you are good at reading Spanish and want to translate part of the work to your own language: if you speak French, German or Italian as your first language, your translation to your own language will be much appreciated, too!
